Puerto de Mogán kayak tours: which of the two €65 cave tours should you book?
Updated October 12, 2026 · 5 min read
Two guided kayak tours go to the sea caves near Puerto de Mogán, and both cost €65 per person. For most fit adults, book the Guided Adventure Kayak Cave Tour & Snorkeling: 4.9 from 422 reviews, a group capped at eight, and a short 2 km or standard 4 km route. It has the narrowest entry rules, though. If you are under 16, over 55 or outside its weight band, book the Guided Kayak to Caves and Snorkeling Tour instead: 4.6 from 390 reviews, with a snack and sports drink included.
The two side by side
| Tour | Duration | Price | Rating | Group | Meeting point |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guided Adventure Kayak Cave Tour & Snorkeling | 3 - 4 hours | €65 | 4.9 (422) | up to 8 | varies by option |
| Guided Kayak to Caves and Snorkeling Tour | 4 hours | €65 | 4.6 (390) | not stated | Taurito beach, kayak area |
RockNatour: the sportier one
This is run by RockNatour and the page itself says it is “not an average kayak tour”. You paddle two-seat sit-on-top kayaks, and everyone helps carry them 80 metres to the beach. The operator offers a short route of 2 km, recommended for beginners, and a standard one of 4 km for experienced paddlers.
Cliff jumping and snorkelling are both optional, and the guide leads the snorkelling. The operator adds that if conditions are good you can swim inside the caves.
The entry rules are the tighter of the two:
- ages 16 to 55 only;
- a confident sea swimmer;
- a body mass index between 19 and 29, which the operator says keeps the kayak balanced;
- you must understand English or Spanish, the guiding languages;
- back problems and over 100 kg are listed as not suitable.
The review summary on the page says some travellers would have liked clearer guidance on difficulty and on how swell affects the pace. Read the conditions in full before you pay.

Yukan: the wider door
The second tour is run by Yukan Outdoor, lasts a full four hours, and meets at the kayak area on Taurito beach, where you look for a guide in a YUKAN uniform. The page lists a guide, kayak, snorkelling equipment, insurance, a snack and a sports drink. A wetsuit is offered only if the water is cold.
Its limits are looser. Non-swimmers, people over 110 kg and people with a low level of fitness are excluded, and you must be able to carry the kayak 80 metres. The page we read states no age range or body mass index. If your child is near the RockNatour minimum, ask Yukan directly before booking.
One practical note from the page’s review summary: some travellers say the snorkel masks fogged or leaked and suggest bringing your own. The page also lists biodegradable sunscreen under what to bring and says cellphones and valuables are not allowed. Hotel pickup and drop-off appear on the includes list even though the itinerary starts at Taurito beach, so check what applies to your date.

Which one for whom
- A fit couple or friends aged 16 to 55 who want the more adventurous outing: RockNatour, at 4.9 from 422 reviews. The cap of eight keeps the group small.
- A mixed group, a heavier paddler, or someone over 55: Yukan. It sets a 110 kg ceiling and no body mass index band.
- Someone who wants the snack and drink thrown in: Yukan lists both; RockNatour lists a snack but no sports drink.
- Non-swimmers: neither. Both exclude them. Look at the kayak and SUP tours for gentler paddling.
Both tours depend on the sea. Yukan states that it is subject to weather and sea conditions, and a traveller’s review on its page reports a cancellation for bad weather, after which another tour was offered. Book early in your trip so there is room to move the date.
Our recommendation
For most active adults: the RockNatour cave kayak tour, if you clear its age and weight limits. Otherwise, the Yukan cave kayak and snorkelling tour. Neither is a casual paddle: both want you fit, and both are real effort for three to four hours. For the same harbour without paddling, see the submarine in Puerto de Mogán.
